PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND BULGARIA MEET ONE-ON-ONE
Baku, January 22 (AZERTAC). Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Georgi Parvanov of Bulgaria met in private.
President Ilham Aliyev warmly welcomed the Bulgarian leader.
The two leaders stressed relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria were developing successfully in various fields, including political, economic and humanitarian ones.
They said both countries have great potential to expand mutual relations, in particular economic cooperation.
The presidents also noted there were good prospects for enhancing energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Georgi Parvanov underscored the importance of close cooperation within international organizations. They also expressed confidence the bilateral relations would further continue to develop.
The two leaders also exchanged views on several topics of mutual concern, including regional and international cooperation.
