On June 12 in the evening, President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev phoned to the Prime Minister of Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The head of the Azerbaijani state congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on convincing victory of the Party of Justice and Development (AKP) on the parliamentary elections conducted in Turkey, noting that under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Turkey has passed long successful way and underlined that this victory is expression of trust of the Turkish people to the Party of Justice and Development, headed by Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Prime Minister of Turkey expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for sincere congratulations.
President of the Azerbaijan Republic and Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic expressed confidence that friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries will successfully develop in all spheres in the years to come.
President Ilham Aliyev invited Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Azerbaijan during the time convenient for him. The invitation with gratitude was accepted.
