RUSSIAN PLANE CRASH CLAIMS 87 LIVES, INCLUDING 9 AZERBAIJANIS
A passenger plane which was on flight from the Russian capital, Moscow, to Perm has crashed killing all 87 people on board, including nine Azerbaijani citizens.
According to AZERTAC’s Moscow-based correspondent, the names of the killed Azeri passengers are:
Abdullayev Rafig (born 1960)
Azizov Mammadali (born 1951)
Badirov Anvar (born 1951)
Jalilov Akif (born 1949)
Mirzayeva Nurida (born 1986)
Osmanov Tagi (born 1994)
Safiyev Ismayil (born 1976)
Shabanov Agil (born 1967)
Lyudmila Yugas (born 1957)
Other passengers on board were nationals of Ukraine, Switzerland, Latvia, USA, Germany, Turkey and Italy.
Russian President Medvedev ordered to set up a state commission to investigate the cause of the accident.
