RUSSIAN PRESIDENT DMITRY MEDVEDEV OFFICIALLY WELCOMED TO AZERBAIJAN
Baku, September 3 (AZERTAC). President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has today been given an official welcome to Azerbaijan.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Russian President at the square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his spouse Svetlana Medvedeva were welcomed by Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva.
The two Presidents inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Russia.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President Dmitry Medvedev, while members of the Russian delegation to President Ilham Aliyev.
The presidents and their spouses then posed for photographs.
