Baku, October 6 (AZERTAC). BP and the Geology and Geophysics Department of Azerbiajan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, have signed a Framework Agreement on Technical Services. The agreement ensures more opportunities for SOCAR to provide technical services in exploration and evaluation projects, in which BP is the operator.

Under the agreement, BP plans to use SOCAR`s services on the repeated processing of the data of seismic survey 2D on block of Shafag-Asiman structures as well as the seismic interpretation of main layers while holding seismic 3D survey.
