Turkish delegation visits Azerbaijan Ministry of Education

Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). The delegation led by head of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities Kemal Yurtnac visited Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Education.

Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov spoke of the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all fields, including education.

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun expressed confidence for further expansion of educational relations.

Kamal Yurtnac stressed the significance of mutual cooperation of the students from both countries and the necessity of sharing Turkey's experience in the field of higher education with Azerbaijan.

He also informed that Turkey plans scholarships for 150 students from Azerbaijan who wish to study at the Turkish universities.

Yurtnac said selection of students will be carried out on the basis of the results of examinations conducted by the State Student Admission Commission, and by voting of the joint commission comprising experts from both countries.
