Turkish delegation visits Lankaran Province
Lankaran, November 26 (AZERTAC). Representative bodies from the Turkish state-run TV channel TRT, Anadolu State Agency, Ihlas and Jihan News Agenies led by Advisor to the Turkish Ambassador in Azerbaijan on Culture and Information, Mr. Said Ahmad Arslan, visited Lankaran province of Azerbaijan.
The visit was held under invitation of the Lankaran Tourism and Information Center at the Lankaran Executive Power.
The Turkish guests were informed about the history, socio-economic, cultural life and tourism potential of Lankaran province.
The meeting focused on friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Mr. Arslan said that “Azerbaijan and Turkey are strategic allies, friendly and brotherly countries”, adding “the relations between the two brotherly countries will be more widen and strengthened furthermore”.
The two day visit also saw meeting with the province`s intelligentsia and exchange of views over recognition of Lankaran region in Turkey.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Turkish delegation has also visited Lankaran State University where they met with the students studying in the field of tourism.
The Turkish guests were astonished with the nature, historical place sand culture of Lankaran region of Azerbaijan.
