Turkish judges, prosecutors visit Azerbaijan
Baku, April 19, (AZERTAC). A 12-man Turkish delegation of judges and prosecutors led by chairman of board of Supreme Court and Academy of Justice, chairman of Supreme Electoral Commission Sadri Guven has visited Azerbaijan.
According to the press service of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Justice, the 5-day trip saw the Turkish delegation pay tribute to national leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honors, as well as visit a Turkish soldier`s grave at the Alley of Martyrs.
The delegation met Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov, who said Azerbaijan and Turkey enjoyed rapidly developing strategic partnership and friendly relations.
He praised the cooperation between the two countries` justice ministries.
Minister Mammadov highlighted legal reforms conducted in the country under President Ilham Aliyev.
Sadri Guven stressed the importance of expanding the legal cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The visit of the Turkish delegation included the presentation of a Turkish-Azerbaijani explanatory dictionary of legal terminology.
