U.S. Department of State: Official Washington supports Trans-Caspian project

Baku, November 16 (AZERTAC). Washington has supported the project of Trans-Caspian gas pipeline, said U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Lynne Tracy in Turkmenistan.

The U.S. official emphasized that that Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and the European Union continue negotiations on the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline construction agreement and export of Turkmen gas to Europe.

Lynne Tracy arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate at the 17th International Conference 'Main trends of the Turkmen oil and gas sector and international cooperation'.
