World Youth Mobile Forum ends in Baku

Baku, May 1 (AZERTAC). World Youth Mobile Forum has wrapped up in Azerbaijan`s capital.

Supported by Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Youth and Sports, the event was organized by the Caspian Investment Centre. The forum also received organizational support from ECAbit, Eastern European and Central Asian Business Incubators and Technology Parks Network, and infoDev, Global Cooperation Program within the World Bank Group.

The forum brought together 30 ICT specialists from 20 countries.

The event featured several sessions, including “Mobile Technologies: New place for youths` virtual business”, “Innovations in mobile technologies and investments in them”, “Technological renovations for students”, “Role of Lego robots in technological development”.

Presentation of Mobile Monday network was held as part of the forum.

The forum was aimed at increasing the knowledge of the Azerbaijani youth about new technologies and helping them in using existing opportunities.

The number of users of mobile communication services is growing in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan`s mobile communication operators already launched 3G and 4G services.
