YES SUMMIT CONTINUING IN BAKU
The fourth global Youth Employment Summit (YES) is underway in Baku.
The second day of the Summit discussed creation of 2 million new vacancies and adoption of special state programs in this purpose until 2012.
The speakers stressed the UN special program must include special attention to increase of employment of youth in the coming years, and to decrease the poverty in the world.
They stressed the importance of involvement of youth to the settlement of issues in the fields of ecology, education and health to solve the unemployment problem.
Speaking to the event, representatives of Azeri youth spoke of state youth policy pursued in the country, adoption of special state programs, education of youth at the authoritative universities of foreign countries on state`s account, increase of knowledge in the field of communication and information technologies and expansion of business opportunities.
Representatives of foreign non-governmental organizations highly praised the work done by Azerbaijani government and Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the field of education and settlement of problems of the youth.
