Advisory meeting on OCC units’ NEL-2 exercise held, Defense Ministry

Within the framework of the NATO Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) Programme, an advisory meeting was held on the NATO re-evaluation level 2 (NEL-2) of the OCC battalion and reconnaissance company of the Azerbaijan Army, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

“During the meeting held with the participation of foreign experts from various headquarters of the Alliance, the state of planning and preparation of the NEL-2 exercise was instructed to the participants.

The main objective of the meeting is to verify the compliance of the combat training activities, and logistics of the units declared into the OCC programme to NATO standards, as well as to clarify and confirm the evaluation tasks compiled to inspect the combat capability of the units,” the ministry said.
