Azerbaijan, Ukraine discuss scientific and educational cooperation
Kyiv, November 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli has met Leonid Guberski, rector of the Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko.
They discussed prospects for Azerbaijan-Ukraine scientific and educational cooperation, exchange of students and teachers between higher education institutions of the two countries.
Guberski recalled his participation in the Second Baku International Humanitarian Forum. He praised the accomplishments achieved in Azerbaijan due to President Ilham Aliyev`s successful policy.
According to the rector, at present 151 Azerbaijani students are studying in the Kiev National University.
Eynulla Madatli, in turn, spoke about President Ilham Aliyev`s care and attention to Azerbaijani students studying abroad.
The sides also discussed opportunities to establish a Center for Studying Azerbaijani Culture at the Kiev National University.
Then ambassador Madatli met Azerbaijani students at the University.
