Azerbaijani scientist attends 38th TERENA General Assembly meeting
Baku, October 27 (AZERTAC). Director of the Institute of Information Technologies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Rasim Aliguliyev has participated in the 38th gathering of the General Assembly of the Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association (TERENA) in Paris, France.
The two-day conference featured discussions on membership, further activity of the secretariat, financial and budget issues. The participants also discussed 2013 plan of action under A Study on the Prospects of the Internet for Research and Edcuation, ASPIER, program.
TERENA offers a forum to collaborate, innovate and share knowledge in order to foster the development of Internet technology, infrastructure and services to be used by the research and education community.
