Azerbaijan`s Eurovision contestant arrives in Malmo
Baku, May 7 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s representative at Eurovision-2013 song contest Farid Mammadov has today completed his pre-contest promotional tour and arrived in Malmo, Sweden.
“It was a long and exciting way to Malmo,” Farid said as he deplaned from the flight, noting “but the most interesting part is still ahead”.
Farid Mammadov visited Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Malta, Georgia and Ukraine during the pre-contest promotional tour included interviews, performances, making new friends, meetings with the current and past contestants who have made great contributions to the Eurovision Song Contest over the years.
His arrival in Malmo to begin final preparations is a lifetime dream coming true for Farid. He will do his best to catch a spare moment to see the city and enjoy its lovely sights and sea views.
Lots of works will be done before his first rehearsal on May 8, Meet and Greet at Euroclub, press conference on May 11, and the semi-final on May 16 where he performs 4th with the song called “Hold Me”.
