Azerbaijan`s President accepts credentials of incoming Argentine ambassador VIDEO
Baku, April 18 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today accepted credentials of Argentine ambassador Carlos Dante Riva.
The ambassador passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.
Carlos Dante Riva presented credentials to the Head of State.
The Azerbaijani President had a meeting with the diplomat.
President Ilham Aliyev noted Azerbaijan-Argentina relations had been developing in recent years. The Head of State underscored the importance of reciprocal visits in expansion of relationship. The President added good relations had been established between Azerbaijan and Argentina in various spheres, including political, economic, trade and interparliamentary ones. The Azerbaijani leader also praised cooperation within international organizations. President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that Azerbaijan-Argentina partnership would strengthen during the ambassador`s tenure.
Carlos Dante Riva, in turn, said there were good opportunities to develop cooperation between the two countries on various fronts, including healthcare, agriculture and energy fields. The diplomat stressed the importance of joint projects in expansion of bilateral cooperation, adding he would spare no efforts in this direction.
