AZERI PARLIAMENTARIANS TO ATTEND PACE WINTER SESSION
Baku, January 23 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani delegation headed by Samad Seyidov, Chairman of Milli Majlis permanent Commission for International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Ties and Head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, will attend the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg, France, on January 26-30.
The delegation comprises MPs Gultakin Hajiyeva, Ganira Pashayeva and Sabir Hajiyev.
The session`s agenda includes a wide range of issues, including consequences of the war between Georgia and Russia, situation in Gaza, progress report of the Bureau of the Assembly and the Standing Committee, nomination of candidates and election of judges to the European Court of Human Rights and the global financial crisis.
