Baku State University, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry explore enhancing cooperation

Elchin Babayev, Rector of the Baku State University (BSU), met with Yalchin Rafiyev, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to explore enhancing bilateral cooperation.
The meeting underscored the crucial role of the BSU graduates of Oriental Studies, International Relations and Economics, and Law in meeting the personnel needs of the diplomatic service.
The meeting emphasized that Azerbaijan has diplomatic missions in nearly 80 countries, including the launch of new diplomatic missions and the appointments of new ambassadors. The parties reviewed cooperation in diplomatic personnel training, particularly for the countries of the Middle East and Africa.
The parties agreed to draft an action plan on fostering cooperation between the BSU and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs across various areas.
