Prospects of the economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran will be discussed during the 7th meeting of Azerbaijan-Iran Intergovernmental Economic Commission scheduled for November-December, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nasir Hamidi Zare said.

Iranian governmental delegation led by Foreign Affairs Minister Manuchehr Mottaki will attend the event.

Iran`s delegation will arrive in Baku, in mid November to discuss the preparation for the meeting and clarify the date, Ambassador underlined.

Documents on the bilateral cooperation in economy, culture and other areas as well as agreement on simplification of the visa free regime between the two neighboring countries will be signed during the meeting, diplomat stressed.
