Ceramic Slab Production Plant inaugurated in Hajigabul District
Hajigabul, April 16 (AZERTAC). Within the visit to Hajigabul District on April 15, President Ilham Aliyev participated at the inauguration of the Ceramic Slab Plant at the Gilan Ceramics Park here.
As was informed, the Plant is an only such enterprise in the South Caucasus and Northern Caucasus, as well as in Central Asia. Construction of the 27-ha area Plant started in 2009. The installation works were carried by “Sajmi” Company of Italy. The devices allow producing high level standard products. The Plant’s products will also be exported in the near future.
Two dining rooms will serve the staff of the Plant with also includes a modern 80-seat inn and administrative department, a conference hall, a 2-storey exhibition hall, warehouses, sports ground and other necessary facilities
The Plant with total 19, 7 thousand sqm area will produce competitive products both for domestic and export.
The President set the enterprise in motion.
The head of state was informed that over AZN40 mln were invested in construction of the Plant, the raw materials of which will also be brought from Turkey and Ukraine.
The enterprise employs over 500 people.
President of Azerbaijan was informed that another facility - new ceramic-magnetic plant will be built in the area.
The head of state praised the works done here and gave certain instructions.
