Deadline runs out for contest announced by Heydar Aliyev Center
Baku, April 30 (AZERTAC). The deadline for application of compositions for the contest ‘I bring up worthy citizen for my state’ declared by the Heydar Aliyev Center among secondary school teachers on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev ended on 25 April.
The articles submitted from different regions of Azerbaijan for the contest which started on 25 March reflected the proposals on new approaches and methods, teaching materials and methods in education system.
The contest of compositions among journalists titled “Azerbaijan’s biggest achievement in foreign policy,” “Azerbaijan is the safe address of international projects,” “Azerbaijan’s priorities in foreign policy,” the contest “I am proud of my Azerbaijan” held among young people, as well as the contest of soldier’s letter “I stand guard of my state, my people, and my family” ended on 27 April.
The number of participants among soldiers differed from other contests. Over 1000 letters were submitted for the contest which started on 27 March from soldiers serving in different regions of our country.
Heydar Aliyev Center declared a contest among journalists, youth, foreign photographers, teachers of the secondary schools, soldiers and film directors in anticipation of the 90th anniversary of national leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev.
The photo contest “Azerbaijan through foreigners’ eyes” declared among the foreign photographers involved the amateur and professional photographers from Turkey, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Israel, Canada, Columbia, Latvia, Great Britain and other countries. The contest among foreign photographers and film directors is to end on 30 April.
After the contest deadline, a jury will assess the works.
