Global Forum participants see ‘Musical Alliance of Civilizations’ Concert

Participants of the 7th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) saw ‘Musical Alliance of Civilizations’ Concert at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.
The concert featured performance of local and foreign musicians and singers.
The concert opened with a piece from Giuseppe Verdi`s Nabucco opera performed by Azerbaijan State Capella Choir. The choir then performed Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 7.
Azerbaijan State Ensemble of Song and Dance performed Nalbaki folk dance.
The forum participants also enjoyed performance of works by Uzeyir Hajibayli, Soltan Hajibayli, Niyazi, Qara Qarayev, Alexander Borodin, Georges Bizet and Ludwig van Beethoven.
The concert also featured performance by Turkish Mehtar orchestra, Ukrainian vocalist Vyacheslav Bazir, and ashygs.
