Baku, August 10 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to Tajikistan Abbasali Hasanov has met chairman of the country`s State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Davlatali Saidov.

They discussed how to implement the issues agreed during Tajik President Emomali Rahmon`s official visit to Azerbaijan on July 12-13 and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

Saidov said great potential exists to increase trade turnover between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Hasanov noted friendly relations between Azerbaijani and Tajik presidents contribute to deepening bilateral cooperation. The diplomat underlined the importance of reciprocal visits of representatives of the two countries` private sectors.

Saidov stressed the importance of business forums of various countries with participation of businessmen. He said such an event was expected to be held late September.
