INT`L FESTIVAL OF PIANISTS STARTS IN GABALA REGION OF AZERBAIJAN
Gabala, 14 August (AZERTAC). With support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the International Musical Festival and Competition of Pianists started in Gabala region of Azerbaijan. The Foundation`s Chief Executive Anar Alakbarov, addressing the opening ceremony of the Festival which will last till August 23, read a letter of congratulations of the president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP Mehriban Aliyeva to participants of festival.
Participants of festival were congratulated by the musical director of festival, the chairman of the Union of Musicians of Azerbaijan, the rector of Baku Musical Academy, Professor Farhad Badalbayli, the minister of culture and tourism Abulfas Garayev. According to them, the festival propagandizing the Azerbaijani culture, will serve popularization of musical traditions of Azerbaijan all over the world.
The festival is attended by known musicians of 16 countries of the world - USA, France, Israel, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Italy, Spain and other countries.
