Kyrgyz national news agency Kabar celebrates 75th birthday
Baku, October 23 (AZERTAC). A capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek hosted the celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of the Kyrgyz National News Agency "Kabar" on October 18-19. The event has brought together many guests from the leading CIS and foreign news agencies including ITAR-TASS (Russia), Xinhua (China), Anadolu (Turkey), Reuters (UK) and Belt (Belarus). Azerbaijan was represented by Tamilla Nureyeva, editor of the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC).
The event opened with a ceremonial meeting with participation of Kyrgyzstan’s officials and invited guests. The Kyrgyz National University hosted the international scientific-practical conference on the problems of the media. Very interesting speeches were delivered by the veterans of Kabar Kyrgyz National News Agency, who spoke about the history of the creation of this agency. At the same evening, President of Kyrgyzstan organized a reception in honor of the guests.
