LAWS ON IMMIGRATION AND STATE DUES TO BE AMENDED
Baku, January 22 (AZERTAC). Milli Majlis standing commission on human rights convened its meeting Thursday to discuss amendments and additions to the laws “On Immigration” and “On State Dues”.
The fact that the law “On immigration” is out-of-date necessitated amendments and additions to the document.
These changes will close the loopholes in the law and facilitate permanent and temporary residence applications
The additions to the law on state dues puts temporary and permanent residency permission and residence permit extension at 6 manats for foreigners and apatrides. Persons who lost their documents will have to pay 3 manats for permit renewal.
The commission recommended that the bills be submitted to the Milli Majlis for consideration.
