Baku, December 28 (AZERTAC). Official website of the Government of the Murmansk Oblast of the Russian Federation posted an article about Azerbaijan titled "December 31 is the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis from Murmansk" by press secretary of the Murmansk branch of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress (WAC), member of the Advisory Board of the Governor of the RF’s Murmansk Oblast, member of the Union of Journalists of Azerbaijan and Russia Alihuseyn Shukurov.

The article narrates on establishment of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis, noting that in connection with the holiday there will be held celebrations in numerous countries, as about 60 million Azerbaijanis live in fifty world countries.

Embodiment of the ideas of this holiday are consolidation and solidarity of nation, devotedness to the historical Motherland, tradition of statehood of Azerbaijan, respect and honor for national culture and values.

The Solidarity Day coincides with one of the brightest and most beloved of all holidays - the New Year and is celebrated widely.
