MUSICAL FESTIVAL AND COMPETITION OF PIANISTS TO PASS IN GABALA REGION

Baku, 12 August (AZERTAC). At the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, through 13-23 August, in Gabala region of Azerbaijan, will pass the International Musical Festival and Competition of Pianists.

In the musical holiday which becomes a prestigious musical competition, representatives of 15 world countries will take part. Along with the known musical figures, representing culture of the various countries, young performers will take part in competition, too.

In the frame of festival, the international contest of young pianists will be held, and world famous musicians will give master classes for young performers.

One day of festival will be devoted to Muslim Magomayev, the untimely deceased masterly singer.

On closing of festival, acting will be the known clarinetists Daniel and Alexander Gurfinkel, tenor Vyacheslav Voinarovsky, pianist Boris Berezovsky and conductor Dmitry Yablonsky.
