OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRMEN ARRIVES IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 19 January (AZERTAC). French, Russian and U.S. co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group tasked with mediating a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict arrived in Azerbaijan on Monday.
They will meet Azerbaijan officials to discuss basic principles of the resolution of the conflict. The mediators will also touch upon a next meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents.
They are expected to hold a press conference on the results of the Baku meeting.
On Tuesday, Minsk Group co-chairmen will leave for Yerevan to continue talks. Co-chairs are also expected to visit Nagorno-Karabakh.
This is the co-chairs` first trip to the region in 2009.
