Participants of Azerbaijan-UNESCO conference visit Baku Slavic University
Baku, November 25 (AZERTAC). Participants of “Azerbaijan-UNESCO cultural cooperation: 20 years” conference have visited Baku Slavic University.
The delegation included Director of UNESCO`s International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS) Shahin Mustafayev, Secretary-General of Georgian National Commission for UNESCO Ketevan Kandelaki, Secretary General of National Commission of Uzbekistan Alisher Ikramov, Senior Counsellor of the Secretariat of the National Commission for UNESCO in Belarus Inna Vasilevskaya, and Deputy Secretary-General of National Commission of Moldova Luminita Drumea.
Rector of BSU Kamal Abdullayev highlighted the University`s activities, particularly its international relations.
Secretary-General of the National Commission of Azerbaijan for UNESCO Gunay Afandiyeva touched upon the activities of the Commission over the last 20 years.
She also praised the activities of Azerbaijan`s first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva.
