PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO PAKISTANI LEADER ASIF ALI ZARDARI

On October 31, President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of condolence to his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari over a great loss of life as the result of an earthquake.

The letter reads:

“The news of an earthquake which caused great human loss and damages in your country is a source of great sorrow to me.

I share your moment of mourning, and extend my sincere sympathies and condolences to You, families and relatives of the dead, and wish those injured soonest recovery.

May Allah rest souls of the dead in peace.”
