Baku, 6 August (AZERTAC). Kazakhstan based Turksoy Supporting Fund commenced shooting for a documentary feature film “Dede Gorgud” celebrating the legacy of heroic legend “Dede Gorgud”. The documentary crew led by B.Barishbekov has partially finished the shoot, particularly its scenes in nature, which have been made in Istanbul, Trabzon and Ankara, Turkey. To date, the shooting process is underway in Azerbaijan. In the run-up to the shoot, the crew spoke to Azerbaijani writer Anar and several literature researches. The next meetings will be held in Nakhchivan. By the way, the captured material will include historical monuments and places of Nakhchivan related to “Dede Gorgud” epos. The premier for “Dede Gorgud” documentary is set for the next year as part of the UNESCO Turksoy week.
