Tashkent hosts 3rd International Festival of opera and ballet
Tashkent, May 20 (AZERTAC). The 3rd International Festival of opera and ballet “Toshkent Bahori” (Tashkent Spring) has been held at the State Academic Theatre named after Alisher Navoi in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The festival brought together famous representatives of opera and ballet, and conductors from Italy, Germany, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The art festival started with a presentation of Giuseppe Verdi`s opera “La Traviata”.
Artistic director of the Giuseppe Verdi`s opera was Uzbekistan`s famous director, Azerbaijani Firudin Safarov.
