US EMBASSY, AZERCELL ARRANGE ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES FOR JOURNALISTS
The US Embassy in Azerbaijan and “Azercell Telecom” Joint Venture co-organized a ceremony on Monday to present certificates to a group of journalists who completed English Language courses.
In the ceremony, the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mrs. Ann Derse said her country always support free media in Azerbaijan. According to her, these courses will help to improve professionalism of journalists and easily integrate to international media.
Ali Agan, Vice-President of “Azercell Telecom”, spoke of constantly support the Company renders to develop free and professional media in the country. He added that journalists` knowledge of English was important in terms of integration into global information space.
