Chairman of Committee: Urban Expo to showcase Azerbaijan's urban transformation VIDEO

“The majority of organizations participating in the "Urban Expo" of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) located at the Baku Olympic Stadium are representatives of civil society,” said Anar Guliyev, the National Coordinator of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) and Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, during a press conference held within the framework of the forum.
Anar Guliyev noted that 15 academic and research institutions, 136 civil society organizations, 44 private sector representatives, including 14 startups, are participating in the exhibition. Besides, the exhibition features 41 pavilions belonging to national governments, 10 public sector companies, as well as 6 representatives of local and regional governments.
Anar Guliyev underlined that the Azerbaijani pavilion, covering an area of 1,500 square meters, within the framework of the Urban Expo will feature the country's urban planning experience and development priorities.
