Ancient Baku-Icherisheher VIDEO

Baku, April 10 (AZERTAC). Old City or Inner City (Icherisheher) is the historical core of Baku and one of the landmark examples of cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people. The wall of the Inner City is 8-10 meters in height and 3.5m in width. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
