Argentine delegation visits Azerbaijan University of Languages
Baku, April 10 (AZERTAC). The delegation led by senior counsellor of the Argentine Embassy in Azerbaijan Gabriel Chorche has visited Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU) to meet with Rector Samad Seyidov.
Samad Seyidov updated the visitors on AUL’s activities and Spain language centre in AULç its importance for the University and students, as well as the relations between Argentina and Azerbaijan.
He informed about international relations of University with Norwegian, Italian, British, French and German Universities and highlighted the close contact with Spain’s Cervantes University.
Mr. Gabriel Chorche expressed his satisfaction and noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina have started 20 years ago.
Speaking about the Argentine University La Plata, the guest spoke of the Azerbaijan Department functioning there.
The Argentine students of this department get detailed information about Azerbaijani history, geography, economy, and politics and on other features, he stressed.
Argentine diplomat expressed interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan University of Languages and said that this relationship will create opportunities for students to become familiar with Argentina.
The event focused on Azerbaijani-Argentina relations and cooperation between universities.
