AZERBAIJAN-TURKEY SOLIDARITY IS STABILIZING FACTOR IN REGION, PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV
Azerbaijan-Turkey solidarity is a stabilizing factor in the region said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his speech in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
“Developments in the South Caucasus worry us. We are so glad that Turkey is carrying out very active policy related to these questions. Turkey, which has suggested Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform, will more seriously intervene in ongoing processes in the region. This intervention will have only positive outcomes”, the President emphasized.
The Head of State said his country attaches great importance to Turkey`s initiative, adding stability and peace will be ensured in the South Caucasus thanks to such initiatives and goodwill of other nations of the region.
“We live in a very sensitive region and experience a complicated historical period, and future destiny and stability of the region depend on our mutual efforts”, President Ilham Aliyev stressed.
