AZERBAIJANI HEALTH MINISTER MEETS FRENCH AMBASSADOR TO AZERBAIJAN
Baku, January 14 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev met with France`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller, on January 14.
During the conversation, Mr. Shiraliyev underlined that Chairman of the medical department of Paris Academy of Sciences, Vice-President of International Association of Surgeons and Gastroenterologists suggested opening in Azerbaijan the regional center for liver disease treatment. Issues of cooperation in medical area, implementation of the joint projects in oncology, AIDS prophylaxis, plastic and reconstructive surgery, dermatology and gynecology were also in the focus of meeting.
