AZERBAIJANI MINISTER OF YOUTH AND SPORTS MEETS UKRAINIAN COUNTERPART

Azerbaijani minister of youth and sports Azad Rahimov met Friday with Ukrainian Minister of family, youth and sports Yuri Pavlenko, who is in Baku on a two-day visit.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues, including ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two ministries.

They also exchanged views on several provisions of a joint cooperation program for 2008-2009.

On the sidelines of his trip, the Ukrainian minister will meet senior officials at the State Committee on Women, Children and Family Issues and visit several sport facilities.
