Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Pakistan meets country`s chief of Air Forces
Baku, October 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Pakistan Dashgin Shikarov has met chief of country`s Air Forces, Air chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt.
They spoke of the friendly relations between the two countries, Pakistan`s recognition of Azerbaijan as an independent state, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Azeri Ambassador hailed adopted statement by Pakistani Senate on recognition of Khojaly massacre as a genocide and support of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
They discussed aspects of military cooperation between the two countries.
On impressions of his official visit to Azerbaijan in 2009, Tahir Rafique Butt expressed proud on reforms in Azerbaijan as well as country`s successes gaining in army building sphere.
Tahir Rafique Butt noted that Pakistan unequivocally supported fair position of Azerbaijan in Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and noted that Pakistan didn’t establish diplomatic relations with Armenia for its occupying policy and even didn’t recognize Armenia as a country.
