BLAST HITS APARTMENT HOUSE IN BAKU

Baku, January 16 (AZERTAC). A huge blast has happened in an apartment house in the Javadkhan Street in Nasimi district in the Azerbaijan capital, Baku, destroying several flats.

According to initial reports two people were found dead, while four are injured.

Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are searching for more people still possibly buried under the debris.

Preliminary cause of the explosion is gas leak.
