‘BLOOD BANK CREATED IN BAKU’

Blood Bank has been created in Baku, Azerbaijani Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev said.

According to Shiraliyev, the Bank is playing important role in prevention of diseases transmitted through blood transfusion.

The Minister noted the work done to settle blood donation problem in the regions of the country.

He added “3 million AZN will be allocated from 2009 State budget for healthcare”.
