CEC ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS ON ESTABLISHMENT OF REFERENDUM INITIATIVE GROUPS
Baku, January 15 (AZERTAC). The Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan has to date received applications on establishment of initiative groups for the March 18 referendum.
CEC has received applications from six groups and gave them signature sheets. The New Azerbaijan initiative group is the only one to submit the signature sheets and other documents for setting up a campaigning group.
In accordance with the Election code, all documents to establish the campaigning group for referendum must be presented to the election commission by no later than 45 days before the voting day.
