CENTRAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION STARTS ENLIGHTENMENT PROGRAM
Baku, 15 January (AZERTAC). The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan has begun activities to enlighten the population on the nationwide poll (referendum) to take place in the country on March 18, according to CEC`s press service.
Members of the Commission started the first stage of their enlightenment program, which is to cover ten topics, with addressing voters on the Public Television during 30 minutes every Tuesday and Friday.
Besides, their articles on various related topics will appear in local periodicals. The program also envisages issuing posters and booklets.
The first stage will finish on 17 February. Starting in the second half of the month, the Central Electoral Commission will organize training for members of subordinate electoral commissions.
