EU, Azerbaijan to discuss cooperation
Baku, February 15 (AZERTAC). According to the agreement signed between Azerbaijan and the European Union on partnership and cooperation, a meeting of subcommittee for energy, transport and environment will take place in Baku on February 19.
Representatives of EU`s Foreign Policy Instruments Service and European Commission`s Directorate-General for Energy and Environment will hold talks with Azerbaijani government officials.
Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia said officials of EU and Azerbaijan would discuss cooperation on energy, transport and environmental issues.
The agreement on partnership and cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union was signed in 1996 and, several subcommittees were set up under the deal.
The last meeting of subcommittee for energy, transport and environment was held Brussels on 17 February, 2012.
