PARTICIPANTS OF MIDWEST ELECTION TOUR VISIT BARACK OBAMA`S ELECTION HEADQUARTERS
A group of journalists, participating in the Midwest Election Tour in the USA, including AZERTAC`s correspondent, visited November 2 presidential candidate Barack Obama`s election headquarters where democratic party activists and volunteers were preparing for the election day.
The election campaign in the USA is entering its final stage as both candidates are vying for the votes of those undecided. With only two days remaining, six percent of registered voters in Iowa have not yet made their final choice.
”Latest poll results show democratic candidate Barack Obama is about to gain a landslide victory,” mayor of Davenport Bill Gluba told journalists here.
Mayor noted if Obama wins elections, he will save billions of dollars by pulling out American troops from Iraq. According to Gluba, peace talks are the best way of solving conflicts. To succeed as a president, Barack Obama must fundamentally change the US economy, politics and foreign policy, he added.
