State Migration Service to register foreign and stateless people in Azerbaijan
Baku, April 1 (AZERTAC). From April 1 registration of foreigners and stateless persons upon place of stay is carried out by the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan in compliance with the Decree № 583 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on making amendments in the Regulation on application of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Registration upon place of residence and stay” dated on March 5, 2013.
Each foreigner and stateless person arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan or person providing him/her accommodation should apply via mail, e-mail or personally to the State Migration Service for registration upon place of stay within 3 days after arrival.
The following documents are required for registration upon place of stay of foreigners and stateless persons:
Application form for registration upon place of stay of a foreigner or a stateless person (see example below);
Copy of a foreigner’s passport or document substituting it, identification document of a stateless person;
Foreigners and stateless persons should fill application form and send it together with a copy of their passport to e-mail address ([email protected]) of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan for registration upon place of stay. Foreigners and stateless persons will be considered registered upon reception of notification on registration.
