TEHRAN HOSTS 1st MEETING OF ECO HEADS OF TRADE PROMOTION ORGANIZATIONS
Tehran, January 20 (AZERTAC). The 1st Meeting of ECO Heads of Trade Promotion Organizations was held in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The event discussed establishment of an ECO Forum for Trade Promotion Organizations. The Forum will have regular meetings in the member states to facilitate trade and investment cooperation among the ECO member states.
Other issues on the agenda of the two-day meeting were establishing a joint strategy for promotion of intra-regional trade, exchange of trade information and organizing joint fairs.
Official at Azerbaijan`s ministry of economic development Sabuhi Gahramanov and Azerbaijani Ambassador in Tehran Abbasali Hasanov attended the event.
