THE UKRAINE TO PRESENT SEVERAL NEW PROPOSALS AT BAKU ENERGY SUMMIT

A set of proposals is expected to be presented by the Ukraine at the Energy Summit to be held in Baku on the 14th of November, Bogdan Sokolovski, the Ukrainian President’s Commissioner for International Affairs on Energy Security said in Kiev on 11 November. One of the main Ukrainian initiatives to be discussed at the Energy Summit concerns establishment of gas and oil operators association to involve Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine. Among other Ukrainian projects - creation of the joint union to provide safety of oil and gas pipelines, establishment of the joint investment agency and other proposals.
